Research

Quantitative research, now focused on medicine and applied AI.

My current research is in medical research and applied AI — most recently a peer-reviewed collaboration in vascular biomechanics. It builds on doctoral work that modeled attackers and defenders of cyber-physical manufacturing systems: the same habit of quantifying risk and failure modes shapes how I evaluate AI systems today.

Themes

What the research is about

Game-theoretic cybersecurity

Modeling attackers and defenders of cyber-physical manufacturing systems as strategic players — Nash, Bayesian and quantal-response equilibria — to quantify risk and decide where security spending pays off.

Risk quantification

Monte Carlo simulation, FMEA and loss distributions that turn security and reliability questions into numbers a leadership team can act on.

Operations & manufacturing

Scheduling under attack, lean improvement, and production-line fitness — the operations-research roots of my later forecasting and optimization work.

Working on medical or applied AI research?

I'm always interested in collaborations that connect rigorous methods with systems people actually use.
